It’s time to share some more Amazon fashion finds for summer. Check out my last Amazon try-on here from February 2019.
To recap, here are some of my tips for buying Amazon fashion:
- Stick to Brands You Know: Amazon sells brands we all know and love like Levi’s, Adidas, Calvin Klein, etc. But, they also have a few Amazon brands you’ll start to get to know as well like Amazon Essentials and Daily Ritual. As you start to try these on, you’ll get to know which brands are good. Stick with this and try to avoid the off-brand stuff you’ve never heard of. Or, if you are going to go off-brand just get 1 or 2 things to test out.
- Check out what fashion/lifestyle bloggers recommend: Let others do the work for you! I picked up a few of my first Amazon pieces by checking out what other bloggers had already tried and recommended!
- Try Amazon Prime Wardrobe: Prime Wardrobe lets you put a bunch of stuff in your “wardrobe.” Then they send it to you free of charge, and you get 7 days to try it. Ship back whatever you don’t want (the shipping label comes with it) and you’re only charged for what you keep!
- Get a little more and plan to return: I hate online shopping because I HATE returning. But, I gotta give Amazon credit, they make is SO easy. All the clothing comes in resealable bags. So, whatever you don’t want you can easily put right back into the same bag, throw a return label on it (this is free), and ship it back
This is my favorite Amazon find of the season. This jumpsuit literally feels like wearing pajamas but is chic enough to wear for date night.
Fits true to size. Can be worn off the shoulder on one side or fully off the shoulder. Cinched wasit and pockets. Lightweight material but NOT see through. Is nursing friendly because it’s off the shoulder.
This baseball-style tee is the perfect effortlessly casual top! The first thing I love about it is that it’s longer (what’s with all the crop tops? You know there’s an entire group of women who still want the bottom half of our tops.)
Basic t-shirt material. Didn’t shrink. True to size fits loose (I’m wearing small for reference.)
I bought this button-down dress hoping it’d be nursing friendly but the buttons are not functional. That aside, it’s SO cute. Super lightweight material perfect for summer but NOT see through. Pockets the back panel of the bodice is stretchy so super comfortable. Adjustable straps.
Size down one size unless maybe you’re bigger in the chest. I got my normal small and it’s too big. Also would be bump-friendly through the 2nd trimester.
I’m in love with this cotton tie-up tank. The material is nice and thick (nothing too sheer here!) It’s a nice soft, thick fabric. And the tie-up knot hits at the perfect spot, not too high or too low.
The buttons are functional if that matters to you. Fits true to size. Comes in many colors.
This romper is actually the shorter version of the jumper at the top of this post. It’s just as comfortable but the fit is slightly different. It features a cinched waist but no pockets, so it’s a little less…I guess “forgiving” is the word. But, it’s still very flattering because of the cinched waist. I’m on the taller side and find it to give decent coverage on the bum for my liking. But, if you are very modest you might find it too short.
Same off-the-shoulder top which makes this nursing friendly, I’ve nursed in it plenty! It runs true to size.
I bought this specifically because I wanted something nursing-friendly in the dress department. I love the look and fit of this dress. It’s wrap style, so very flattering and obviously it was simple to nurse in.
It has a deeper v neck so keep that in mind if you are bigger in the chest. Very lightweight material great for summer. It comes in a variety of colors. Fits true to size, however if you want a slightly more loose or flowy fit, you could probably size up one.
I almost didn’t keep this dress but it’s one of the few fashion items on Amazon that was harder to return (most things you click one button and it’s done but this dress requires that the company approve it blah blah blah.) Anyways, I planned to return it and didn’t follow through on the steps and I’m actually glad because now I can’t get enough of this dress. SUPER comfortable and awesome lightweight material. It’s buttoned down the front then has a knee-high slit in the front so it’s super flowy and flouncy! Fits true to size. Would be a great maternity dress – bump friendly.
Once again, I got it because of the buttons (wanted nursing-friendly) but I will say these buttons are a pain to button and unbutton. It can be done, but not ideal for babies who might be cluster feeding!
If you’re looking for a dupe of the coveted Leith Ruched Body Con dress from Nordstrom that everyone and their mom has, this is it. Figure flattering ruched dress that comes in multiple colors. It’s a thicker material, but not AS thick as the original Leith Body Con. Great everyday dress you can dress up or dress down. Fits true to size.
This is just a super simple t-shirt style top. The material is exactly the same as any graphic tee you got for free for donating to some cause or at a sporting event. But, it has a simple off-the-shoulder style that gives it a trendy look. So, if you love the ease and comfort of t-shirts but what something that looks a little more chic or feminine, this is a winner.
It’s not too short, hits just below the hips. Fits true to size.
I kinda feel like every woman needs a top like this in their life. This t-shirt is a nice thick, soft material, AND it’s uber long. Like, could wear it with leggings long. Shirts like this are just a great piece to have in your wardrobe. You literally can just wear them with leggings and call it a day, tie them up with shorts, layer them under long cardigans. The possibilities are endless.
