Happy Wednesday! Welcome to another Wedding Wednesday! Today I’m sharing a more in-depth look inside the Erin Condren Wedding Planner I was gifted by a Bridesmaid for our engagement. I’ll give you a spoiler alert that I adore it, it’s the perfect thing for keeping all things wedding planner organized and together!
My friend customized the front of mine with my name and picked this amazing floral pattern. She told me she had such a hard time picking which one to get me, but honestly I don’t know if I could have picked a better cover for myself! That’s a huge perk of Erin Condren planners for sure, there is a lot of customizations available from adding quotes to photos and so on.
The first thing inside the planner is 12 months of planning. It’s a typical one-month-per-page layout. This is perfect for wedding planning because you don’t need a page for every week, that’d be overkill for the amount of tasks you have a month (except perhaps the week right before the wedding). Each month is themed and comes with adorable quotes and graphics in typical Erin Condren style.
There’s not a lot in my planner yet, but we do have our wedding day set! (Insert excited giggles) I’ll be walking down the aisle June 4, 2016! We booked our venue about a week and a half ago and are to pumped to finally have the day and location set!
After the month planner, there is the “I Do” list which is pages of helpful organizers and list makers. You have a spot for recording your vendors, a budget, information on bridesmaids and groomsmen, spots for jotting down ideas about music, guest list information, and much more. Additionally, there are tons of sheets in the back for notes and ideas.
At the very back there is a small folder and clear pocket for keeping receipts, contracts, etc.
I’ve obviously never done this wedding planning thing before, so I love having all my stuff in one place. While I have a regular planner for my day-to-day life, I love having one just for the wedding. My daily planner has all my work tasks, things for my blog and YouTube channel and all my personal activities and obligations. It’s nice to have wedding slightly removed from this so it can stay organized and not get lost in all the other things I have on a weekly basis. It’s also helpful to be able to see the wedding planner in a sort of “snapshot” look.
So, overall it’s a great planner for anyone planning a wedding. It’s a great gift or something just to get yourself to help with the entire planning process!
