Happy Friday friends. Just a super quick little post to share some pictures from the marketplaces in Aguas Calientes. I almost didn’t bother posting this, seeing as we just have a few photos, but the colors are too pretty to ignore! One of my favorite things in Peru were the marketplaces. The local Wednesday market in Sacred Valley I shared a few weeks ago was one of the highlights of our trips. They are just so full of color and vibrancy!
Aguas Calientes is the town at the base of Machu Picchu so it’s crawling with small shops and markets intended to capture the tourist. While a lot of the goods are just kitschy tourist things, I still love wandering through the many rows of stalls and bartering with the sellers for small knick-knacks.
I’m in love with this tank top I wore this day. It’s no longer available, but it’s this awesome high-neck faux suede tank. I love the suede trend and think wearing it in a loose tank top is such an simple way to embrace the trend!
