For New Year’s Eve this year we visited friends in Boston for a somewhat low-key night so I kept it casual. Top from Marshall’s – per usual, I should take out stock in that place, and standard white skinny jeans.
We took ourselves out to a nice Italian dinner in the North End, stopped at a few bars, then planned to head home before midnight to avoid fighting everyone and their mom for an uber. We had champagne waiting and figured we’d celebrate from the comforts of our friends’ apartment.
Unfortunately, directions weren’t our strong suit and we sent the driver off in the wrong direction and instead we ended up ringing in 2016 from the backseat of the car…and it was awesome. Life has a way of not always turning out quite like it’s supposed to and it leads to the best memories. I’ll definitely never forget the time I started the new year from the back of an uber.
